Haanong

Since its foundation in 1994, Haanong has been playing a role as a bridge for the high quality and development of domestic interiors by introducing overseas premium building materials in Korea, and has been growing under the love of leading domestic and foreign companies and consumers.

After the member interview, we felt that Haanong was more like a community than a company. And the Latin proverb All for One, One for All was used as the slogan of Haanong. This is also Founder's idea and desire that companies should not just pursue profits, but become a community that builds one person. We got this inspiration from "Yoke. I saw the true vitality of the company as the leaders set up a person in the appearance of a mother cow carrying a yoke and plowing a field for a baby cow, and the baby cow grew up and joined another baby cow's yoke. I thought this looked similar to the community that Hanong dreamed of. The same reason is that Haanong's logo mark H symbolizes yoke.

It's a lie that it's sustainable.

Concrete that can't be recycled or discarded.

It's not about sustainability
it's about doing what's possible now.

“To be sustainable, we have to stop lying about being sustainable.”

Sustainable is used as a catchphrase for many companies and brands like a trend, but in fact, fulfilling responsibility for those words is very difficult for companies and taking risks. Haanong is making various attempts and efforts to ensure that a sustainable lifestyle does not stop at a brand catchphrase. As part of this, in partnership with Switzerland's Lehmann-gruppe, it introduces sustainable architecture to Korea, such as barren land for modular wood construction, and suggests alternatives to concrete, a non-disposal or recycling building material.
